Mr. Richard is the supervising partner of the firm’s employment law and occupational injury practice. He lectures frequently on current legal topics and has served as an expert witness, pro tem judge and instructor at the Insurance Educational Association (IEA). He is a certified specialist, State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, since 1999.

Mr. Richard has been selected as a SuperLawyer by his peers every year since 2005, as published in Law & Politics and San Francisco magazines. He previously served for several years on executive committees at the Industrial Claims Association and the State Bar of California. He also volunteers at community organizations dedicated to advancing higher education, civil rights and the performing arts. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University.
